The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global call to action to end poverty, protect the environment and climate, and ensure peace and prosperity for all people worldwide. Uzbekistan is actively working towards implementing the SDGs, with a particular focus on ensuring social, economic, and environmental sustainability.
JizPI has set a goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. To reach this target, the university is actively implementing energy-efficient technologies, utilizing renewable energy sources, and promoting eco-friendly initiatives on campus.

Notably, the development and commercialization of solar technologies-including semi-transparent photovoltaic panels-and the establishment of a full-scale solar panel production facility enabled both financial independence and environmental impact mitigation.
